When I first heard about this, I didn’t think it was true. But apparently I saw an article that said that Charmed fans are banning together to get a movie made from the show. Now, granted, I am a fan of the show, but would a movie really be a good idea? For one, movies based on television shows aren’t exactly easy to do. And most of them either end up being rushed or have a scattered plot. That’s usually because the movie tries to sum up the show in a span of an hour and a half, which isn’t enough. On top of that, it’s not exactly the idea way to represent a show. Movies based off of television shows are usually meant to get people hyped about the show. It’s so the fans of the television show can enjoy it and newcomers can be so interested by it that they themselves want to see the show. But if you try to make the film sum up the show, then chances are, you’re not going to get a good reception, not just from fans of the show, but from audience members all over. However, there is another route that you could go when it comes to making a film from the show. You could try and make it be an introduction to the show, making it a prologue, or you could give the show some closure, making it become an epilogue. But in my honest opinion, the show had really good closure, so I don’t see why they would want to make the film the later. Unless of course they decided to make it more based around the comic series. After the final season of the show aired on Television, Zenescope decided to continue the show with a 9th season via comic books. But to make a film based around a comic book series, can be rather hard. I’ll admit it would be nice to see it into a movie, in fact I think it would be rather interesting to see what they do with it. Anyways, bottom line is, if they want it to be a really successful movie, then they have to do it right, otherwise there will be a lot of disappointed Charmed fans. As for my opinion on it, I wouldn’t mind seeing the show made into a movie. But what does everyone else think of this? If you are a “Charmed” Fan, then would you like to see the show into a movie? Or would you rather like to just let the show die out and not see it be brought back into a film?

They should make a movie, but involving the charmed children and how their lives where while growing up with powerful witches, Then they can make new seasons to follow up. I think that would make a fantastic movie!
